Treat Street: It’s Mummy’s turn to get a treat

It is pure genius! Seriously genius!

That is the new website launched by Boots called Treat Street. Treat street is an extension of the Boot advantage card whereby you can earn points through your online shopping. The site hosts a number of huge brand names such as ToysRUs, New look, eBay, Clarks and Waterstones to name but a few so it will be easy for those points to add up.

Now if you are like me, you love watching your advantage card points tot up because you can ‘treat’ yourself to that much needed anti ageing cream guilt free knowing that if you don’t the only option on your old jar is to maybe lick the sides to get the remainder out and scrape it off your tongue to add that much needed moisture. Alternatively if you are having a tight month it can help with nappies and baby bits or even the odd birthday present that you had forgotten about.

Did you know that from research that Boots undertook two-thirds of woman have difficulty finding the time and money to treat themselves, so the thought that I can get even more points to treat myself whilst shopping for other people is just PERFECT!

I found out about this fabulous website from attending the Boots Treat Street event  held at the Savoy. I have never been in the Savoy before, but it has recently be refurbished and it is truly stunning. I felt like Julia Robert from pretty woman when I walked in, only I hope I looked less hooker like!

We were treated to a beautiful afternoon tea, which had to be seen to believed. I thoroughly enjoyed my scone with clotted cream and jam, my chocolate mouse and chocolate dipped strawberries. Yes, MUMenTUM is totally out the window this week!

I also got a beautiful makeover using NO7 products and according to the other ladies there it did look pretty. I loved the eyeshadow.

Can you tell the difference? The glare is highlighting how radiant I now look after my makeover!

To top my day off beautifully I won a Marc Jacobs Laptop case which is totally stunning and left with a gorgeous goody bag and a box of chocolates that were ridiculously heavy to carry home, but worth it because I am giving them to my Sister in Law for her retirement do which is the night of CyberMummy so I will miss it. Again, the classic mummy trait of not keeping a treat for yourself, but I think I was thoroughly spoiled on this occasion!

Now I can’t believe it but the Boots Treat Street website has been live since September 2010 but I did not now about it until yesterday so I am assuming you don’t either. I don’t want you to miss out so head over there now to take a look and don’t forget to check when you purchase anything online if the shop is on their site so you can get your points. Plus they have a prize draw on at the moment to win a trip to DisneyLand Paris and some exclusive discounts for some stores.

The lovely SuperAmazingMum, NewMumOnline and finally me!
A day with the fabulous NewMumOnline
She is standing with the cat called Kasper that acts as the 14th guest any time there
are only 13 as it is considered unlucky in the savoy. he even gets a napkin round his neck

To me it is crazy not to sign up to this. it costs you nothing, you shop for what you require anyway, but you get that much deserved treat at the end! Go on Treat Street yourself!

Note: I have written this post of my own volition and because I think the idea is brilliant and will be of interest to my readers. This is not a sponsored post. The only things given to me were the goody bag upon leaving and comp win.
