The sun was out, the sky was blue and it lulled us into a false sense of security as we thought we would suggest going to the beach on a Sunday morning in January!
Then we realised the wind was howling a hooney and the air was crisp with cold but as soon as we had mentioned it to the children, suddenly they were planning hunts for treasure and searches for pirate ships and shell collecting! So we wrapped up and off we went, mentioning it to Nanny and Uncle O as well who decided to join us.
The children were completely oblivious to the wind and just loved being out in the fresh air.
So what have your Family Frolics been this week? Share the in the linky below!
Remember the rules are as follows:
- The most important part is that it has not got to look ‘professional’…it is the taking part that counts.
- It must be family based…meaning an activity you did together. It does not have to involve the whole family but at least evidence that a child and adult were involved together.
- It must not be a competition or review that you have been requested do (if it is a book you are reading or a toy you are playing with for example then that is different.)
- I would really appreciate you taking my badge to put on your post and if you fancy mentioning that you have linked up to me in your post that would be great! The code can be found in the side margin of my blog!

Last week we had some fabulous entries but my two favourites were:
Microwave Science experiments by Crayon Frekles who turned a bar of soap in the microwave into this!
As a science geek I think that this is just awesome!
The next feature is Homemade Finger Paint from Easie Peasy, being guest posted over at Red Ted Art! I just think it looks so pretty even before you use it!
Looking forward to seeing some more fabulous Family Frolics this week!
