Dear Santa,

Dear Santa,

Firstly this may sound slightly crazy but I have never stopped believing in you. Dudley Moore in Santa Claus the Movie is just too convincing as an elf – he can’t possibly be an actor!

I just wanted to let you know that I have (I think) been a very good girl this year. I may have lost my cool on a couple of occasions as a mother but on the whole I feel I am doing a satisfactory job. They are all in one piece for a start (Mummy on the other hand is a little battered and bruised) so that is something to be thankful for. As such I wondered if you would consider my Christmas wish list.

This may be a little ahead of the game, but I know you get inundated with letters and know you will be snowed under with requests for toys and games, and my requests are a little different, so just wanted to give you some time to give them some thought.

Number 1.

Getting up in the morning is not so much of an issue if it is at a normal ‘morning hour’. Anything pre 6.30am is just not good. I should not have to consider anything past this a lie in. Would it possible to have some sleep dust so that I could get a good 8 hours sleep once in a while?

Number 2.

My very own physiotherapist would be good. My back (although I know it is muscular) is just ripped to pieces – three car seats across the back of a car manoeuvre  is not back friendly. I just don’t want to hurt anymore.

Number 3.

Last year’s Christmas was a bit of a wash out because all the adults either had flu or a bug of some kind. Healthy people this year would be good!

Number 4.

I am not sure if Christian is on board with the whole Santa Present franchise, but if he is, a polite word to my husband about his Louboutin shoes would much appreciated. If he so much suggests as I have nowhere to wear them tell him *cough, ahem, hubby* that socks will be his only gift!

Thanks you for taking the time to read this,

All efforts appreciated,

MM

xx

P.S If you are in need of some brilliant gifts for all on your nice list then check out myAdvent Calendar Competition in December. A prize every day for Advent, up to christmas eve! Well, even Santa must like a freebie!
