The sun is out and Bruce the Moose can come to the rescue!
I read this from a very dear friend of mine off Facebook this week.
‘Sickening. Grrr! Just saw a woman in the village get out of her car, bright red shoulders/arms/back from too much sun. Then her daughter got out, no more than 4 yrs old…..exactly the same. Do it to yourself, by all means, but pile the sun cream on your toddling, innocent child, for Gods sake’
I could not agree more, it makes me so cross that some parents do not protect that children’s skin and it is so delicate and precious when they are young.
Now we cannot grumble about the weather (loving the sunshine at the moment) and it may be that because it is March we can be caught off guard from a sun protection point of you, but we must not think that sun protection is only needed when the sun is out in full volume. The UV rays from the sun can be very powerful when hidden by clouds as well and now with warmer temperatures and shorter sleeves we must make sure we are protecting our little ones.
Last month I was sent the brand new Sudocrem Moisturising Mousse and Sunscreen Mousse to try out. I emailed to say could I delay the review to warmer climates so that I could actually test out the sunscreen. I did not expect that time to be March but we have had to use Sunscreen a few days last week and this week. Two of my three little ones are very fair-skinned and I cannot afford to take chances.
The Sudocrem Sunscreen Mousse is very effective. You actually don’t need very much and it spreads really well. It rubs in with ease and does not leave any greasy residue. This is topped off by the fact that it smells very pleasant too despite the fact it is perfume free! Often after being smothered in sunscreen BBcan get appear very hot and bothered and sweaty which can result in prickly heat, but using this mouse I found this did not happen, which made me see that is lets the skin breathe.
We have been Sudocrem cream fans since day dot of having kids and the cream has been particularly brilliant with Chilled out Boy and his Eczema and dry skin. The moisturising mousse has been much easier to use and although not as intense has been a great cream to have in the changing bag to whip on when out in the wind or after swimming. The application is what makes it so brilliant because you can cover a limb in seconds. I tend to use the mousse during the day to rub in, and then use the thick barrier cream on the backs of his knees at night when it does not matter it rubs in instantly. I won’t be returning to ordinary lotions for the day time now I can use this mess free option.
So I have three sets of these brilliant products to give away to my fab readers worth £23.98 a set!
