On Saturday BBand I hosted our very own ‘Pass on the love’ picnic with Persil 2 in 1 with comfort. He invited his four friends and their baby siblings plus their mummies to come to our picnic.
‘Pass on the Love’ is a new idea created by Persil to celebrate the launch of their new 2 in 1 with comfort. The idea being that you host a picnic and everyone that attends brings a teddy or soft toy. You can then either swap them or donate them to charity (OXFAM being the chosen charity of choice). We decided to opt for this option as…
1. Our children are very lucky and have lots of soft toys they can share with less fortunate children
2. They are all under 4 and the ‘swapping’ idea may have ended in tears or we would have ended up with the same soft toy back!
So Persil kindly sent us the the most lovely picnic set that included
- a blanket
- paper cups
- money off vouchers for me to give out
- a couple of beautiful soft toy rabbits
- a bottle of Persil 2 in 1 with comfort
- An OXFAM sack
Here is BBtelling you what we have to do to have our ‘hipnic’ as he calls it!
We are inside as the weather was so windy on Saturday everything kept blowing away!
The picnic started and was a great success although not one of them stayed on the rug…they all spread out! Meaning lots more hoovering but it was worth it!
Here are Noah’s friends Little Es, Little H and Noah’s brother Chilled out boy!
The boys Master B and BBin the Garden (braving the wind like boys of steel!)
Here are the grand collection of toys everyone brought! I was so thrilled.
Then to the washing – we were given passion flower persil 2 in 1 with comfort. As soon as I took the lid off the fragrance was amazing (I really could have kept on sniffing it!). The only thing that surprised me was that because it was in a lilac bottle I expect a lilac liquid and it was bright blue.
The toys were a little grubby in the sense that they had been on wardrobe tops or shelves and had got a bit dusty. All of the toys came out of the machine looking so fresh faced and new…and smelling delicious.
I have since used the Persil on my ridiculous amounts of washing and I have have to say small and mighty it is. As I have so much washing in this house I do tend to overload the machine (to get through it faster) and have found that some detergents have been been quite up to the power of washing such a large load but Persil stood it’s ground. I was very impressed. Additionally with other detergents containing fabric softener I have often still added extra fabric softener anyway but this was not needed at all with Persil 2 in 1. The clothes came out from drying really soft and still smelling lovely.
You only need one capful per wash so you get 25 loads for your bottle which makes it 24p a wash which I think is exceptional value especially as you do not have to buy fabric softener as well!.
It will be the fresh bedlinen that I have put on today that will be noticed tonight!
Persil 2 In 1 with comfort and prices start from £6.15
Finally all the teddies go into the OXFAM bag for delivery!
A great day had by all me thinks.
Plus why not host one your self? It’s so easy to set up and a great way to have fun with friends and give too! Go on…Pass the Love!
